Individual Therapy for Young Adults

Clinicians at CNC offer individual therapy for college students and young adults to explore their strengths and challenges within a supportive and affirming environment. We support young adults with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression and low mood, low self-esteem, life transitions, academic and workplace stress, relationship issues, perfectionism, and obsessive-compulsive tendencies. Together, we explore the situations, thoughts, and feelings that may be preventing them from living the life they want, and we help them develop new skills to handle these difficulties more effectively. Clinicians utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens to grow their self-understanding and increase their capacity to live a rich, meaningful life.

Appointments are offered in-person and via telehealth, as appropriate. Clinicians are credentialed with PSYPACT and can offer telehealth in a variety of states for those college students/young adults who live outside of Illinois. You can check here to see if your state is included.
